Placement cell of Smt. Savitaben Panalal Kothari College of Secondary education initiated in February, 2019. The reason being that students are not that much aware about career opportunities. Moreover, SPKCSE is only English Medium B. Ed. College across North Gujarat. Institute has recognized the demand of teachers for English Medium schools of North Gujarat region. Placement cell has come to the aid of the student support and welfare. Placement cell is functioning as a mediator between student-teachers and recruiters. Placement Cell facilitate new opportunities for the students and assist other recruiters. Placement cell organizes various events on training programmes, interview skills, model making for the holistic development of the student-teachers.

Objectives of Placement Cell

• The main objective of the cell is to place the right candidate at the right organization.
• To identify the qualities, preferences, talents and traits of the student- teachers which help during the time of placement.
• To enhance their softskills, grooms and prepares the students-teachers for interviews and demo lessons.
• To identify suitable potential employers/institutes and help them achieve their hiring goals .
• To organize activities concerning career planning and acts as a bridge between students, alumni and employers.
• To organize time to time campus interviews for student- teachers.
