College Grievance Redressal Cell

Home / college grievance redressal cell

The cell has been established in accordance with UGC rules for the college's student grievance redressal system. The committee addresses college students' issues and provides timely and effective resolutions. It gives a venue for students to lodge their grievances online*.

There is also an offline option for students to file written complaints in a complaint box located in the college building. Its goal is to improve students' college experiences and to provide student support in a transparent and student-centered manner. Student teacher concerns are immediately addressed to promote an empowering and rewarding learning environment for all students at Smt. Savitaben Panalal Kothari College of Secondary Education (SPKCSE).

The Grievance Cell's objective is to foster a responsive and accountable attitude among all stakeholders in order to preserve a peaceful learning atmosphere at the institute.

A Grievance Cell should be constituted for the redressal of the problems reported by the Students of the College with the following objectives:

  • To establish a fair, impartial, and consistent procedure for resolving the many challenges faced by student-teachers;
  • To develop a responsive and accountable attitude among student-teachers, and so preserve a pleasant atmosphere on the university campus;
  • To ensure that grievances are resolved promptly, objectively and with sensitivity and in complete confidentiality;
  • To ensure that the perspectives of each grievant and respondent are respected, and that no party to a grievance is discriminated against or victimized;
  • To advise student-teachers to respect each other's rights and dignity, and to conduct themselves cordially.
